Account Migration

You are about to transfer your data from the former AirRater service to AirHealth. We will transfer the following information:

• Your email Address
• List of past symptom reports and locations (note we will only transfer postcode data and GPS data will not be transferred)

By clicking “agree” you confirm that:

• You consent to the transfer of the following personal information from the existing AirRater app (managed by the University of Tasmania) to the new AirRater app (managed by AirHealth Pty Ltd):
1. your email address
2. your historic symptom reports, at postcode level
• You have read and understood the Important Information for Users provided below
• You accept the AirHealth Pty Ltd Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and understand they will apply to all information transferred to AirHealth Pty Ltd.

What personal information will be transferred?

If you select “agree” the following information will be transferred:

1. your email address
2. your historic symptom reports, at postcode level

Who will the personal information be transferred to?

The information will be made available by the University of Tasmania to AirHealth Pty Ltd as provided for in the above consent form when you select “agree”.

AirHealth Pty Ltd, and not the University of Tasmania, will manage any personal information that is provided to AirHealth Pty Ltd with your consent.

How can I access my information?

To view your personal information, navigate to the Locations screen in the AirRater app to see saved locations, and the Summary screen to view historic symptom reporting dates. For a detailed data request, please contact air.rater@utas.edu.au.

How will be my information be used on transfer?

Personal information transferred to AirHealth Pty Ltd will be used in accordance with its Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

The University of Tasmania encourages new users to carefully read AirHealth’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

AirHealth collects, uses and discloses user personal information for different purposes than the University of Tasmania, which may include commercial and direct marketing purposes described in its Privacy Policy.

What are the consequences if I don’t consent to the transfer?

You are not required to consent to the transfer of any information to AirHealth Pty Ltd. The new app may be used independently of this information but will not include records of any saved locations, symptom data or other information previously provided to the University of Tasmania through current or previous versions of AirRater. It is expected that current and previous versions of AirRater will be decommissioned in 2025.

You will shortly receive an email to the address associated with your AirRater account confirming your migration is being processed. For security reasons, your old AirRater password cannot be transferred to the new app, and you this email will contain a temporary password to log into the new app.

1. Click the Done button above, to return to the app Sign-In screen.
2. Login using your email address and the temporary password you will receive in the email.
3. You will need to change this temporary password to a password of your own.
4. Click the Forgot your password - Reset Here option on the Sign-in screen.
   
5. Enter your email address on the Reset Password screen.
   
6. You will then receive an email containing a six-digit code. Do not share this code with anyone. Enter the code on the Password Reset screen.
   
7. Choose a new password for your migrated AirRater account.
